Today I’m sharing a tip that may help buyers secure the contract in a multiple-offer situation. This one tip will also give the seller confidence to go ahead and list their home now so they can take advantage of the strong market, even though they may not be ready to move for several months.
Matching up these buyers and sellers will create a wonderful transition and a win-win for both parties.
Some buyers may not be quite ready to move but want to take advantage of the current low interest rates. For example, they may be leasing and their contract isn’t up for six months or their job may not be moving them here for another eight months. However, this is the perfect buyer who should make an offer to a seller who also isn’t ready to move yet. The seller may be building a house in Florida and it’ll be several months before it’s ready.
Matching up these buyers and sellers will create a wonderful transition and a win-win for both parties. It helps the buyer secure the contract and allows the seller to list their property now. The market is strong; interest rates are low and prices are high because of all the demand. Both buyers and sellers win in this scenario. Listing a home contingent upon finding your next house or securing a home to move into in several months aren’t prevalent options in our marketplace, but we’re starting to see these things more frequently.
