This holiday season, a lot of people are asking, “Is it a good time to sell? If so, what do I need to do to prepare my home for showings during the holidays?”
My answer is that it’s a great time to sell! Interest rates are low and there is a lot of buyer activity going on. Inventory is also down, which means that you can get more showings and sell quicker!
As for preparing your home for showings, it’s important not to overdo the holiday decorations. Don’t overwhelm the house with a huge Christmas tree that will make your house seem smaller. Instead, place some poinsettias or garland here and there. Your home will be ready for the holidays and look welcoming and cheerful to prospective buyers.
