What’s Happening in the CSRA September 30th – October 1st

Parents Night Out: Glowing Foam Party

When: September 30th | 6:00pm-9:00pm

Where: Augusta Cheer Academy | Martinez, GA

Augusta Cheer Academy is known for hosting several events for children, so parents can have a night out. Kids ages 5 and up can enjoy a glow in the dark foam party! Pizza will be served for dinner. The kids can tumble, cheer, do stunts, etc. It is suppose to be a really good time for the kids, and give parents some time to relax or go out!

Morning Pumpkin Succulent Workshop

When: September 30th | 10:00am – 12:00pm

Where: Cold Creek Nursery | Aiken, SC

The Morning Pumpkin Succulent Workshop is to be held at Cold Creek Nursery, which is a local garden center in Aiken. At this workshop they will instruct you how to make a beautiful pumpkin succulent arrangement. When someone says, “hey, where did you get that?” then you can say you can truly say it is an original piece! All materials will be provided as long as you register online. It Is recommended to bring gloves since you will be working with glue.

Wooden Pumpkin Workshop

When: September 30 | 10:00am – 11:30am

Where: AR Workshop | North Augusta, SC

 If you are looking for something to do on Saturday then the Wooden Pumpkin Workshop would be a great way to start it! At this workshop you will be shown how to make not 1, but 3 wooden pumpkins! This will end up being a neat set you could set out with your fall decor. You can choose your own colors and ribbon/twine to add your own special touch!

CSRA Brick Con

When: October 1 | 12:00pm – 5:00pm

Where: Columbia County Library | Evans, GA

This will be the second annual Brick Con held at the Columbia County Library. This is a good event for people of all ages that is indoors! It is FREE for the entire family. Brick con offers a variety of activities from viewing all the amazing lego displays, food trucks, Lego movies playing the entire time, Lego trivia, Lego building stations, etc. There is going to be a raffle taking place as well. For each canned good you bring in, you can get 1 raffle ticket (limit 5). 

R&B Fall Fest

When: September 30th | 6:00pm

Where: Miller Theatre | Augusta, GA

The Miller Theatre is hosting yet another great show this weekend! This show is suppose to be filled with amazing artists, one being a native of Augusta, GA! This show will consist of Stokley who is a GRAMMY nominated artist, Avery Sunshine who has performed with Tyler Perry, October London who had a feature with Snoop Dogg, and Eric Mayweather who has shared the stage with The Temptations to Georgia Clinton. That is a lot of great artists!
