Today I’m back with our Success Manager, Meagan Nungester, to share with everybody that we are expanding! 

Meagan: It’s very exciting! We’re looking to bring new members on board, individuals who will be a great culture fit, who are professional, positive, enthusiastic, and loves real estate! We hire licensed and non-licensed individuals, as well as people who’ve never bought or sold before. 

Shannon: We started the company about 20 years ago, and you’ve been here 13 years! Meagan is so critical to our team’s success and she’s involved in so many aspects of it. What do you think it is that makes our team different and allows us the success that we’ve been able to experience? 

Meagan: You know, at Shannon Rollings Real Estate we believe that the client is served better when you have a team behind you. And that’s what we do. So, historically a real estate agent has been responsible for a number of different things, juggling a number of different responsibilities, all at one time, all alone, and it’s no wonder the ball gets dropped. And so we do it very, very different. We have specialized teams that walk our clients through each stage of the transaction depending on where you are. And you always have somebody that you can reach that’s an expert in that area. We have marketing specialists, a listing team, buyer agents, closing specialists, and support staff that help us answer the phone, answer questions, respond to requests. And we are available 7 days a week from 9am to 8pm.

Shannon: What do you think the benefits are of working at Shannon Rollings Real Estate? 

Meagan: Number 1 is the culture. It is unmatched. Every team member values and cares for the client, but also values and cares for each other. Number 2 is we have a growth and nurturing culture. I guess it speaks to our culture, as well, but we are constantly looking to see how can we help our individuals, our staff members, grow. When we bring on a licensed individual, we help train them, we make sure they get a paid mentorship, we offer lead opportunities, we offer support for time off. They have no expenses, so they’re not paying for any MLS dues, not even their business cards, not even their computer! They also have a company car that they can use. All of those are huge perks for any real estate agent! And then for our non-licensed members, we offer extensive training and exposure to different stages of the home buying process. 

Shannon: Is there any other input you would want to give as far as coming on board with Shannon Rollings Real Estate and what we’re all about? 

Meagan: I’ve been here 13 years. I’m sharing what I experienced in my own career here, and that’s why I’m so passionate about it! We’re always looking for excellent culture fits. If you know anybody that you think should talk to us, we want to talk to them! I’ll say we have high standards because we really care about the care of our clients. We have high expectations, but we deliver so much as an employer for our staff members. We do have a career page that you can visit on our website. I’d love for you to go ahead and look through that. It does talk through the details on all of the positions that we hire for. Throughout the year we’re actively hiring licensed and unlicensed individuals. 

Shannon: Right now we’re looking for full-time people, as well as weekend coverage. We’re looking for administrative staff, advertising staff, licensed agents, and unlicensed assistants. We really want people that are passionate about real estate, helping other people, being part of a team, and being professional.
