Hey everyone, I wanted to talk to you a little today about preparing your home for sale.
As a seller, you need to be able to put on your buyer shoes, step out, and take a look at your home from their perspective. Buyers want to see a neat, clean front. You want to make sure your bushes and flowerbeds are trimmed and tidy. Your curb appeal is huge for the buyer’s first impression.
Once inside the home, the first step is getting it decluttered. You want to make the home feel open and warm, while also maximizing the space you have. When you declutter, you want to remove all the personal items, photos, and clutter from every part of your home.
Showcasing any tile or hardwood floors is important as well. Remove any rugs on top of them, and remove the clutter of appliances from the sink and counter. Another thing you might also want to think about is adding a fresh coat of paint.
If you are thinking about selling and want some more suggestions on how to prepare your home for sale in a timely manner, give me a call or send me an email. I would be glad to help out!
