Builder Spotlight – Welsh Custom Homes

Today we’re going to be taking a look at a home that was just finished in Lakes & Streams built by Welsh Custom Homes builder, Chris Welsh. 

This home we are looking at today is a beautiful home; however it is under contract. But because it’s finished, I wanted to show you all the upgrades that he includes automatically in his Lakes & Streams homes. Let’s take a look. 

In the kitchen you will find custom built cabinets with a huge island in an accent color. The builder happens to own a cabinet company, so you really do get nice shaker painted cabinets throughout the home. Also included are granite countertops and a tile backsplash. 

Did you see the amazing custom built mud bench seat? Again, the cabinet shop comes in handy to showcase all the amazing things he can do. 

In the living room you have a gas fireplace with coordinating tile surround that matches the backsplash in the kitchen. With the open floor plan, it makes sense to tie the two together.

Welsh also includes luxury vinyl plank flooring throughout the main areas. That includes the kitchen, the living room, the foyer, the dining room, and the walkway to go to the garage through the mud room. All those areas are automatically included and you can upgrade to include the master suite if you’d like as well. 

All the bathrooms have tile floor, cultured marble countertops, and framed mirrors. 

Throughout the home there is crown molding, even upstairs, and window trim. Window trim is something that a lot of builders cut you short on. You will notice when you go through other homes that the windows do not have trim. It’s not something that’s noticeable until you’ve seen a home with window trim.

A few other items to make note of: he provides a tankless hot water heater and radiant barrier roof decking, both of which make your home more energy efficient. He also provides a covered back porch and extended concrete area for grilling. Plus, sod and full sprinkler system are included, as well.

Not only does Chris Welsh build in Lakes & Streams, but there are several other neighborhoods that he builds in with different price points. He does a beautiful home.
