BEST Neighborhoods in the CSRA!

I’ve had hundreds of buyers calling in looking for homes all over the CSRA, a few neighborhoods in particular. On the SC side, The Rapids has recently received a lot of attention. A mix of new construction and established homes, this neighborhood has great amenities including a pool, clubhouse, tennis courts, and access to the Greeneway. Prices range from $350,000 to $600,000 for resales with over a million for the river front homes and new construction starts at $600,000 non river front. Lakes & Streams is another neighborhood that I’ve had a lot of buyers asking about. This neighborhood is just outside the city limits with no city taxes, only county taxes which is a great savings. You have the option to buy a resale ranging from $250,000 to $450,000 or select a lot and watch your dream home come to life between $380,000 to $420,000! It includes 6 neighborhood lakes, beach area, acres of common area, neighborhood RV and boat parking plus this area is a great family-friendly option for your next home. In Aiken, Woodside is a fabulous gated community made up of Woodside Plantation, Woodside Reserve and The Villages at Woodside.  The Villages is just outside the gate with direct access to shops, restaurants & medical facilities plus a beautiful park. Inside the gated area, The Reserve requires a social membership where as the area of Woodside doesn’t but in all areas, you still have access to golfing, swimming, tennis, fitness & other clubs as you choose to participate in things that interest you. Prices ranging from $280,000 for smaller patio home or townhome to a million plus.

Time to cross the river! In Georgia, we’ve had a lot of buyers calling in recently about River Island. This is one of the best neighborhoods in Columbia County and in a desirable school district. Resident gardens, kayak stands and resident docks, walking trails & boardwalk, community pool and pool house, playgrounds and parks.  Prices range from $500,000 to $1,500,000.  River Island is the perfect area to live like you’re on vacation. West Lake is of course a neighborhood that seems to always peak buyers interest with the option of participating in community events and amenities optional including golf, swimming & fitness facilities while still having the benefit of being in a very nice gated community!  Prices range from $500,000 to $1,000,000. The last neighborhood I want to talk about today is Canterbury Farms in Grovetown. A mix of newly constructed and resale homes, playground, miles of walking trails, jr olympic swimming pool this neighborhood has something for everyone with prices ranging from $170,000 for a townhome to $500,000.
