- Condition: The condition of your home is paramount to your home sale. Buyers want homes in turnkey condition, so you need to make any and all necessary repairs, both on the inside and the outside. Ideally, your home should look brand new if you’ve cleaned and make all the of right repairs and enhancements.
- Pricing: You need to price appropriately for the marketplace, and you definitely want to avoid overpricing your home. Buyers are very savvy these days, and they can tell when they aren’t getting a fair deal.
- Marketing: This is the big new thing in real estate. You can no longer just place a sign in a yard and hope that a property will sell. Your Realtor should also have a full marketing plan that includes social media, internet marketing, print media, and more. If your Realtor cannot give you an immediate answer when asked about marketing plans, then you may need to find a new Realtor!
